Synopsis#

Reward $RICE to all participants in DAOSquare governance.

Motivation#

In final design of DAOSquare governance, there is a mechanism to reward all governance participants from the revenues from DAOSquare incubator operation. It's a positive game to keep DAOSquare incubator running health. But as a beta now, all governance works are voluntary contributions from members. So we need a mechanism to reward their works as thanks for their helping on governance and mechanism improvement.

Specification#

• Proposer reward: Proposers if her/his proposal is approved: 20 $RICE/each proposal.

• Temperature check reward: Any participant who give a 👍 or 👎 in temp-check: 5 $RICE/each participant in each proposal.

• Discussion reward: Participants who provide valuable suggestions, insights, and opinions in discussion of temp-check: 5 $RICE/each participant in each proposal.

• Voter reward: Any voter who vote on YES or NO: 10 $RICE/each voter in each proposal.

Rationale#

These reward amount are my personal suggestion and looks like just a bit gift for those contributors in governance work. Would love to hear the voice from community and Passport and Cafeteria members.

Risks#

Although it may lead governance attack and spams, but it will be limited in a small scape for now because the citizenship (only Passport members can submit proposals and participate in temperature check, only Cafeteria members can vote on proposals.)
