Summary:
This proposal brings to the community vote an increase in the recurring payment amount paid to me, Zótico, for six funding cycles.
The current payment is of $800/cycle, which would be increased to $2000/cycle due to the increase in the workload of managing the teams responsible for translations in many languages, as well as implementing changes in the translation process and efficiently communicating the translation demands to the multiple teams.
An increase in the payout value is fair if we take into account the expansion of the demands that the role has had since the start of the translation efforts. Since I started creating the translation processes for Juicebox (in the following proposal: Bring Zotico in as Translation Organizer ) and its implementation , as well as the start of the organized translation effort, the amount of languages being translated, and therefore teams being managed has increased quite a bit. We can see when I started receiving recurring payments and we propose the amounts to be paid to translators on these proposals: Adding Zotico as recurring contributor for Organizing Translations , Translation Payment specific proposals and Continue to pay @Untitled for translation management . We have increased the number of languages approved for translation from 5 to 13 languages ****and the number of translators of 12, for a team (that is still growing) which currently has 35 people (in the proposals Redefinition of values and metrics for translation team and Take translations tasks management and payments management from notion and tip.cc to dework ). Due to these changes, the amount of teams and languages that I have been managing has more than doubled, as well as changes of translation platforms and other processes that require my time and attention to work as efficiently as possible.
Risks:
If the management job is not correctly done, poorly done translations might be approved, making the Juicebox Interface and documents appear less professional and trustworthy.
If the management job is not correctly done, translators might not be working as efficiently as possible due to not receiving enough content to work on, which can lead to delays on the translation teams.
The amount of management work being too much for only one person.

How have you contributed to the DAO?
- Using Notion, I have created an autonomous and organized system for managing translation demands among translators where they can pick up tasks, let others know the status of this task and check how much they will be paid for the work done;
- I created an introductory guideline so that translators know how to use the new system;
- I created a system using Sheets to automatically calculate the amounts to be paid to translators in each cycle;
- In the last 12 cycles, I requested the amounts to be paid to the translators and distributed the payments between them;
- I was responsible for updating and maintaining translation demands in the translation system;
- When we implemented Crowdin, I helped the translators to get used to using it and to update in Crowdin the translations that had already been finalized in the previous system;
- I supported the translators by dealing with their doubts, answering questions and listening to their opinions in order to always improve our working conditions and maximize efficiency;
- Worked together the DeWork team to migrate the system that I created to DeWork;
- Dealing with new demands, including the expansion into more languages;
- I created a system to check the quality of the work of new translators before they join the team;
- I Searched for new translators to work in the new languages;
- I created a tutorial so that translators could easily join DeWork;
- Management of translators in general.

- Continue dealing with new demands, including the expansion into more languages;
- Work on a system of rewards for translators, according to the work they have done;
- Working on a system to better assess the quality of translations;
- Continue to answer questions and manage the translators;
- Improve the testing system for approving new translators;
- Make payments to translators directly into your wallet, without going through tip.cc;
- Assist in adapting docs.juicebox documents for translation in DeWork;
What does success look like for someone taking on your role?
Having the translations finished with a high quality rate, keeping the translators motivated and payments on time, and constantly improving the processes related to the translator’s work.
Under what criteria should the community reassess this payout?
If for a prolonged period of time the translators in the community don’t get the appropriate support on my part or if I fail to execute the needed payments/management tasks.
