How to fill out this template.
Thesis:
Create a 1 FC trial payout for Nicholas (via dao dev inc.) to work as a contributor on various product development and DAO organizational initiatives.
Abstract:
Engage Nicholas (via an engagment with his company dao dev inc.) to contribute to the following JuiceboxDAO initiatives: Product design and development, NFT integrations, internal and external communications, Solidity development, partnerships and recruiting, legal and compliance, governance and DAO operations.
Motivation:
The crypto bear market is set to test Juicebox’s ability to increase revenues and engagement amidst a wider deceleration in the space.
To fortify Juicebox and ensure that the protocol is able to achieve its maximum potential, I would like to return as a contributor to lend my skills and positive energy to building with this wonderful team.
I would like to test the waters for a recurring contributor role with an initial trial payout this cycle.
Risks:
I do not perform meaningful work during the FC.
Specification:
Pay $5000 (in ETH) to jb.daodevinc.eth once. This comprises $1000 of retroactive compensation and $4000 of compensation for the period of FC24.
By voting to approve this proposal in Snapshot, you are confirming that you have read and agree to the Terms of Engagement with dao dev inc., Nicholas’s employer.
Terms of Engagement IPFS CID: QmYpYs1uvRQ9thKsk8PVEekSzka6HtZ24SRVx2fzAgc94T
Rationale:
Juicebox is close to my heart. I was a contributor from July 2021 to February 2022, when I decided to take some time away. In the intervening months it has become clear that Juicebox is the project I’m most excited and passionate about, and one that I very much want to help succeed and reach its full potential.
I have a pertinent set of skills, context, and network to help Juicebox in the following areas:
1- NFT product development: design, integration, and market research
2- Product development: strategy, prioritization, and JB development coordination, design
3- Internal communications: town halls, documentation
4- External communications: communicating about projects being built on the protocol, v2 dev buidl opportunities, JBDAO governance engagement, Juicecast podcast (if desired)
5- Solidity development: test writing, extension development, future nft development, integration with relevant peers
6- Partnerships and recruiting: creating and stewarding relationships with peers such as Buidl Guidl (Austin Griffith), Gitcoin (Scott Moore), and others, helping to recruit talent to JBDAO and as 3rd parties to build atop the protocol
7- Compliance: legal strategy, planning, and relationships with counsel
If my contributions are useful and valued by the DAO, I will make another subsequent proposal for either a second trial, or a recurring payout.
Timeline:
1 FC duration, FC#24
