Synopsis#

This proposal is to refund Jango for 952 DAI covering the DAO's Figma and Notion expenses.

Motivation#

Jango used to pay for Figma and Notion expenses from a personal credit card, and submit retroactive payouts from the DAO for reimbursement. Jango has since passed on this responsibility to CogniDAO, but the DAO has not yet approved a proposal to fund CogniDAO to cover these liabilities. Jango has thus paid CogniDAO on the DAO's behalf to cover these expenses, including a 10% CogniDAO service fee. Jango will pay the 10% fee, and is asking only for the reimbursement only of the Figma and Notions invoices.

This proposal is in reaction to DAO not passing a proposal to fund CogniDAO for its expenses during the previous governance cycle. See JBP-298.

CogniDAO thus feels in debt to JuiceboxDAO, and Jango has volunteered to fill the void.

Jango has previously been compensated retroactively for CC expenses on the DAO's behalf. See JBP-236. This proposal should be treated similarly, while noting Jango has used CogniDAO as an intermediary.

Jango will also not ask for reimbursements in the future. If the DAO wishes to have a Figma and Notion account, it must figure out a way to pay for these through a service such as CogniDAO.

Specification#

Convert the DAO’s multisig ETH into 865 DAI sent to jango.eth from DAO's multisig.

Rationale#

In the future, proposals of this nature are best addressed proactively instead of retroactively.

Risks#

There's risk of continuing the standard for retroactive payments for services.
