Thesis:
Proposal from Viraz to renew his recurring payment for $4000 per Funding Cycle
Abstract:
I have been contributing part-time on the protocol side of things since last year and I would like to continue the same and keep contributing towards the protocol side of things. Please find details of my previous proposals here
Motivation:
Since my last recurring proposal ended, here is the work I have done in chronological order:
- Worked on writing contracts + tests and post audit changes for V3 Migration including the v1 & v2 allocators (Commits)
- Code reviews and writing tests and docs for juice buyback (Commits)
- Help with royalty support for juice-delegate v1.2 version (PR)
- Updated/Fixed tests, and code review for sorting tiers by a category instead of contribution floor in juice-delegate v1.2 version (PR)
- Research how different protocols out there are handling staking & fee distribution for synergies around jbx/jb-ve-nft with juice-distributor
- PR reviews for juice-delegate-registry, unum-optin & blunt-finance
Risks:
- Code quality isn’t up to the mark
- Unable to deliver according to the timelines
- Viraz could go AWOL
Specification:
For the next 7 funding cycles renew Viraz’s [0xviraz.eth ⇒(0x2dda8dc2f67f1eb94b250caefac9de16f70c5a51
)] recurring payouts for $4000 per funding cycle in the JuiceBox DAO.
Rationale:
The exposure that I have gained technically past year after joining the DAO as a contributor has been immense and I have enjoyed learning from the other contributors and implementing those learnings into what I have done. I feel I have taken the feedback I was given throughout and implemented that in some capacity & I want to keep contributing and keep having a positive impact & also learn from the shortcomings I have made while shipping out stuff.
The next things on my todo are mostly related to the priorities the DAO has which include shipping juice-distributor, juice-ve-nft, add support/lead on some bits at least for the development of multiplex data source, and add support/lead on some bits at least to the development of the jb L2 efforts since I feel that is going to add a lot of value, especially with all the scaling effort happening around the Ethereum ecosystem. Besides that also will also potentially resume work on experimental things like apple-juice, etc., depending on the dao priorities, and of course help with any other code reviews and tests so we can ship faster.
