Synopsis
Projects and contributors receiving funding specifically to advance Juicebox will be required to disclose industry standard metrics re their efforts every other cycle as well as provide log-in information for privately held assets to the multi-sig.
--
Motivation
The Transparency Requirement aims to solve several issues. (1) Universal disclosure of metrics will allow other contributors to help advance those efforts. Likewsie, metrics allow members to gauge ROI and make informed decisions about funding. (2) Some assets are privately held. Currently, if the contributors holding this information were to disassociate themselves from Juicebox, our DAO would be back to square one on those efforts. (3) DAO's are built on transparency and group based work & decisions; gatekeeping informatin is antithetical to our core philosophy.
Specification
When a project or contributor creates an account specifically for Juicebox, they will DM login info to the multisig. A Discord channel for Metrics will be created. Contributors will post industry standard metrics about their efforts in this space every other cycle. Here, some trust is required; we're all smart enough to understand that numbers can be juked and framed, eg omitting engagement, but including impressions. There's an element of 'no bs' with renewal serving as the enforcement mechanism.
Risks
There is no spend involved with this proposal; hence, no monetary risk. So, the major risk is bad faith on the part of contributors or a failed execution.
Timeline
Proposal will apply to all new projects following passage.
