Synopsis
Renew Matthew and Brileigh’s recurring payout for seven (7) cycles to continue producing educational materials, product updates, devrel content, The Juicecast, website copy, and bug testing.
Motivation
As JBDAO continues to invest in frontend and contract development, it should also devote resources to communicating these changes to users and making Juicebox more comprehensible. As long as JB devs continue to dev, there will be a need for materials that explain to the outside world why this all matters and how it might be useful. Matthew and Brileigh are the team best suited to producing this content.

📚 Educational Content
Juicebox can feel complex and hard to understand for new project creators, contributors, and devs. Each of these audiences needs to feel confident in Juicebox in order to create a project, contribute to a project, or develop an extension.
M+B have consistently produced high-quality educational material that helps make Juicebox more comprehensible, breaks down primitives, and gives users confidence that there are trustworthy people behind the protocol.

Upcoming work
🍊 Working closely with the Peel team to bug test and announce new features, develop in-app educational materials, and produce content that helps users use Juicebox with confidence
📚 Educational content like the use case videos that help build Juicebox mental models as well as evergreen content that breaks down core Juicebox primitives like Cycles and Payouts
💻 Dev-facing content like Solidity Sesh that helps bring new devs into the ecosystem to build on top of Juicebox
🎙️ Hosting and producing The Juicecast as a cultural anthropology of Juicebox and a storytelling vehicle for builders within the ecosystem and beyond
📰 Based on temp check feedback, going forward we will reevaluate lower performing initiatives and put more energy towards new experiments
Expenses
For the last year or so, M+B have incurred the following expenses as contributors to JBDAO:
- Adobe CC suite (2 seats) = 109.98 USD per month
- Riverside Pro = 29.00 USD per month
- Canva Pro (1 seat) = 14.99 USD per month
- MailerLite Growing Business plan = $10.00 USD per month
- CapCut Pro = 7.99 USD per month
- Screen Studio license = 89.00 USD one-time
- Reincubate Camo = 79.99 USD one-time
Specification
Add $6000 USD recurring payout from Cycle 55 to Cycle 61 (inclusive) to Project 552 (https://juicebox.money/@juicecast) from the V3 treasury.
If JBP-418 is approved, add a $9000 USD recurring payout to Project 552 (https://juicebox.money/@juicecast) from Cycle 55 to Cycle 59 (inclusive) instead.
Rationale
We are proposing to renew our payout to reflect the continued workload and output that we have established over the last several months.
Risks
- Matthew might lose his streak in the gm channel (currently 507)
- The Juicecast might be deemed a security by Gary Gensler
Timeline
This proposal should take effect immediately and last seven (7) funding cycles, starting in Cycle 55 and ending in Cycle 61 (inclusive).
