Motivation

The proposal addresses two key motivations:

  • Improving community engagement and support.
  • Enhancing the clarity of the contribution process on Juicebox's platform.

Specification

  • Ambassadors will be selected from the Juicebox community managers based on their enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment.
  • Ambassadors will contribute to tasks listed in the task Board (see below)
  • Ambassadors will actively participate in the community by answering questions, providing support, and encouraging discussions.
  • Ambassadors will guide and mentor newcomers and contributors, assisting them in understanding how to engage effectively with the platform.
  • Ambassadors will collaborate to create a comprehensive "Getting Started" guide for newcomers, offering step-by-step instructions on how to join the Juicebox community and contribute to projects.

Monthly Meetings:

  • Ambassadors will participate in monthly meetings where key members of the JuiceBox team are present to answer any questions and provide updates to the ambassadors.

Task Board:

  • A "Task Board" or a similar platform will be established to list tasks and projects that require community assistance.
  • Ambassadors will help maintain and organize the task board, ensuring that contributors can easily find opportunities to get involved.

Community Outreach:

  • Ambassadors will engage with the Juicebox community across various channels, including social media, forums, and community platforms.
  • They will actively promote discussions, disseminate information about projects and events, and encourage community participation.

Budget Allocation:

  • The DAO will allocate a budget of 0,02%  amount of native tokens to support the Juicebox Ambassador Program.
  • The specific allocation and distribution mechanism will be determined collectively by the DAO members.

Rationale

The creation of a Juicebox Ambassador Program will:

  • Foster a more inclusive and supportive community.
  • Provide newcomers with clear guidance on how to participate effectively.
  • Organize and streamline contributions through the task board.
  • Increase community outreach and awareness of Juicebox's projects and initiatives.

Risks

Potential risks include:

  • The need for effective selection and management of ambassadors.
  • Ensuring that the allocated budget is used efficiently.
  • Balancing the compensation for ambassadors with the DAO's financial sustainability.
