In JBP-439 - Temporarily Disable Redemptions, I proposed temporarily disabling redemptions from JuiceboxDAO's project to minimize the impact a Buyback delegate exploit would have. The buyback delegate has been working as intended for several cycles.
In JBP-447 - Enable Redemptions Again (0% -> 70%), I proposed re-enabling redemptions at a 70% rate (as suggested by DAO members). This proposal failed to pass a temperature check, but was generally well-supported. I still think we should turn redemptions back on.
Specification
Update JuiceboxDAO's redemption rate to 70%.
Rationale
The redemption rate was 90% before we temporarily disabled it. A 70% redemption rate makes more sense now because:
- Fee payers now get more JBX because of the buyback delegate. Even at a 70% redemption rate, redeemers will receive more funds now than they did before.
- Because of the buyback delegate, ETH from fees will not be routed to JuiceboxDAO's project. We should be slightly more conservative with the ETH made available for redemptions, and encourage DAO members to hold their JBX for longer.
