How have you already contributed to the DAO?
So far, I’ve written a draft treasury management proposal which includes:
- Motivations and investment objectives of the treasury
- Researching outsourced management options
- Management committee specifications
- Sample portfolio allocations with researching various potential investments and risk /reward
Separately, I’m speaking with Llama Finance & others on treasury management best practices
In conjunction with Mr. Goldstein, working on the financial model and co-authoring mechanism proposals
How do you want to contribute to the DAO going forward**?**
In the end state, I believe JBX can have a robust treasury management plan could have the following aspects: 1) capital appreciation; 2) cash buffer for operating runway; 3) yield generation to offset expenses; 4) partnership opportunities with other DAO tooling companies; 5) grants / corporate VC to fuel development / projects on JBX
Over the course of the next three funding cycles, while continuing to research Treasury management best practices, I plan to:
- With feedback from the community, finalize treasury capital allocation proposal
- With feedback from the community, create structure for Treasury Management governance committee
- Explore potential DAO-to-DAO partnerships and framework for evaluating grants / VC investments on JBX ecosystem
- Update model to include revenue / expenses so we can forecast out JBX income statement to better forecast Treasury needs
I plan to continue treasury management related research/proposals and assist @Mr. Goldstein in mechanism related research to the extent is relevant to the treasury
To the extent a treasury management committee ends up being formed, would like to participate on that committee on an ongoing basis
