Abstract This proposal is a continuation of the beta test of Core Contributor structure, first implemented in Q4 2023. It uses a more objective system of recognizing contributors based on past performance in our quarterly retroactive rewards, asking them to stay involved in MoonDAO governance and allow them to perform tasks or self-start initiatives that would provide benefit and impact to MoonDAO but fall outside the scope of an existing project. We would also open a DAO-wide end of quarter Coordinape for any and all non-project contributions. This DAO-wide coordinape will have 10% set aside from the total retroactive rewards pool.

The primary benefits of this approach are: Meritocratic approach to governance and automatic removal if no longer delivering results Avoiding Senate capture or centralization by Executive Branch and ensuring higher governance participation Encouraging work across multiple projects Retention of contributors with the largest demonstrable impact
