Abstract
This proposal aims to modernize and standardize MoonDAO's brand identity while preserving its established recognition
Problem
The current MoonDAO logo presents several challenges: - Visual Inconsistency: The "DAO" portion uses a different typeface and sizing than "MOON," making it hard to read - Poor Scalability: The current design loses clarity when used as a favicon (ie. small icon) - Limited Multi-media Integration: Lacks an official audio component for video content
It has, however, been around a long time, and has built up a lot of awareness that's worth retaining.
Solution
Officially instate new branding that builds on the brand recognition we've already established while maintaining familiarity: - Use the one standard typeface used for the "MOON" part for the "DAO" part, and standardize the text size. - Instantiate an official favicon version of the logo that simplifies the shape and increases the size of elements for better recognition at small scales - Design a sound bite of 1-3 seconds to be presented alongside the logo
