Abstract

MoonDAO is becoming a recognizable name in the space community and as that reputation grows, it is important to develop connections with technical experts and thought leaders in the space community. MoonDAO has been invited to give a session talk at the Mars Society Annual Conference as a model for decentralized funding for space. This conference is a great opportunity to recruit technical experts, thought leaders, and veterans of the space industry into MoonDAO. Further it is an opportunity to showcase the strength of MoonDAO’s model.

Objective #1: Present MoonDAO as a model fundraising and facilitation body for space projects Key Results for Objective #1: A permanent video outlining MoonDAOs structure and goals published through the Mars Society as a part of the conference recording. Elucidate MoonDAOs goals to the space community as a part of the development of the public facing MoonDAO brand.

Objective #2: Recruit veteran space community members into MoonDAO Key Results for Objective #2:

  • Inspire 10 individuals to become contributors to MoonDAO
  • Distribute promotional MoonDAO material

Objective #3: Obtain details for sending a MoonDAO mission to MDRS Key Results for Objective #3:

  • Discuss the cost and requirements for a MoonDAO mission at MDRS
  • Establish potential timeframes for a MoonDAO mission to MDRS
  • Connect with Shanon Rupert, the on site coordinator for MDRS

Objective #4: Recruit and send MoonDAO members to the events Key Results for Objective #4:

  • Promote the events listed here
  • Publicly review attendee applicants and select based on contributions to MoonDAO
  • Establish expectations to the selected attendees to network and create a report to bring back to the community.
