Newsletter Budget Extension#

ConvertKit Pricing: With the recent Dude Perfect video, newsletter sign-ups have exploded much more rapidly than anticipated. The original proposal did not take this into account and had a budget for up to 300 subscribers (with an original OKR of 100 sign-ups). As of Wednesday, we have passed four different pricing tiers, and are quickly approaching the next pricing tier which takes effect after 8,000 subscribers. A good problem to have for the DAO.

ryand2d has put these charges on a personal credit card which is already billed for over $1,200 $1,400. With subscribers still coming in from the video, we need to set aside money in the multi-sig for up to 15k subscribers to ensure we still have room to grow and future reimbursements can happen in a timely manner.

MVP Change: ryand2d is requesting a small increase in MVP (~16%) for the additional workload not scoped out in the original proposal with the Dude Perfect video launch, this includes marketing funnel, form implementation, and analytics efforts with the website team (Larrotiz and Mitchie) for https://www.moondao.com/dude-perfect, implementation of additional emails not scoped out in original sequence (MoonDAO events, and extra follow up in Initial Onboarding Funnel), as well as crisis response after launch trying to get sending live again on Saturday when ConvertKit temporarily shut down emails due to the massive influx of subscribers from Dude Perfect that blew past our account limits. Requesting an additional $250 DAI and 25,000 Mooney, and requesting a change to the distribution of ryand2d MVP to release 50% of the MVP upon completion of the ~14 autoresponder sequences instead of waiting until after the end of the year when the project deadline has passed.
