This is the first proposal of a two part proposal broken up as follows:

1. An agreement to partner with @cowtools, @furda and their team to document our MoonDAO astronaut. The project will also work with StudioDAO to do a crowdraise for the project on Juicebox.
2. How much funding MoonDAO will provide from our treasury to fund this effort.

Proposal 1#

Abstract#

We will document our Ticket To Space winner’s journey from China to Texas, and then to space. In a long-form narrative, we have the opportunity to tell his story, the story of MoonDAO, and dive into the passions that animate web3.

Total Budget#

• 25,000 Dai maximum budget for legal fees. This will be returned if the full amount is not used.
• 5,000 Dai for MVP to the Project Steward for coordinating with the team.

Proposal Options#

Option A: YES#

• MoonDAO wants the filmmaker team led by @furda and @cowtools to have access to Yan and other MoonDAO members (individuals who are open to being filmed) to tell the proposed story
• MoonDAO supports the filmmaker team to partner with StudioDAO on raising funds and distribution
• A Yes vote grants the above with no commitment of funds from the MoonDAO treasury allocated to the Film LLC (the filmmakers). Options $0-$300K will be available to vote on in Proposal Two.
• A Yes vote grants the above along with an allocation for a $25,000 maximum in MoonDAO treasury funds to be available for potential legal fees that may or may not occur due to the film being made. While this budget is allocated for use on an as-needed basis, there are scenarios in which $0 legal fees may be incurred such as potentially with Proposal 2 Option 1 ($0 funding) as the winner. Legal fees will be required to draw up a contract between MoonDAO and the Film LLC for the options offered in Proposal 2.
• A Yes vote grants a $5000 Minimum viable salary to the project steward.

Option B: NO

• MoonDAO does not support access and the proposed approach.
