Synopsis#

TT DAO will contribute to minimal costs to support 2 activations during ETH Denver.

Motivation#

We have Id Est Hospitality as a partner in Denver. Bruxa + other community members are attending ETH Denver. We'd like to activate in low production, high impact ways to continue strengthening our bonds IRL. We also got asked to do so many things!

Specification#

$900 to ETH Denver costs: $150 @adam $150 @empowa $100 @marajane $400 wine for community tasting

3/3 Food Waste Redux Workshop by Mara King @ Cabin @marajane , one of the world's leading fermentation experts will share how to turn food waste into tasty new foods. Workshops normally cost $80pp, Mara is generously waving her fee. We will ask attendees for donations, but would like the DAO to offer $100 into the pot. We'd also like to bring some wine for folks to taste during the workshop too.

3/4 TT L8 Nit3 @ Hey Kiddo An open community gathering to eat at Id Est's newest fried chicken & wine bar, Hey Kiddo. They'll reserve part of the restaurant, hire a DJ, & send us some yummy things to taste. We'd like the DAO to cover the cost of some nice wine to taste people on. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their own additional food & drink.

A 2nd transaction will convert $900 worth of ETH to DAI as soon as the proposal passes.

Rationale#

We are looking at low cost ways to gather excellently. We'd also like to provide small offerings to community members for their time & support.

Risks#

Things may cost a lot more and Bruxa will take on the overhead. People may be annoyed the events aren't totally free like many of the events in the space.

Timeline#

Should immediately take effect. ETH Denver begins 2/25.
